My Role

  • Collaborated with Lead Designer Brenda Hawley, Character Artist Shawn Boyles, and Creative Director Devin Wakefield to ideate characters and refine character details.

  • Selected Pantones and created color layouts, highlights,and shading for characters, patterns, and environments.

  • Designed layouts for a range of products, including black and rainbow leggings, a nightgown, notepad, blanket, lunchbox, and keychains.

  • Prepared detailed tech packs for manufacturers, including specifications, color callouts, and layout guides to ensure accurate production.

Process

Below is a selection of logos I’ve designed between 2019 and 2025. These projects cover a wide range of functional needs, from traditional and versatile lockups to maximalist, illustrative designs and brand extensions for sister companies.

 

My logo design process always begins with a clear understanding of the company's goals by identifying use cases, functional requirements, and the brand voice to ensure each logo is both strategic and distinctive. From there, I conduct research into the target audience and competitive landscape, followed by multiple rounds of sketching and low-fidelity exploration to find the strongest layout and structure. This leads into high-fidelity development, where I refine unique details and visual elements. The final stage includes polished deliverables and packaged assets, with client collaboration and feedback integrated throughout every step of the process.

Agri-Risk Solutions - a crop insurance agency focused on leveraging cutting-edge technology to support the farming community.
 

HCS Global Invitational SLC - a Halo esports gaming event hosted by Spacestation Gaming in Salt Lake City in 2023.
 

Cookies, Etc. - handmade, freshly baked cookies in Iowa. They ship locally and nationally and are famous for their cookie ATMs.
 

Banished Ink - a fake tattoo studio brand designed for a cyberpunk inspired temporary tattoo booth at the HCS Salt Lake City Major in 2024.
 

Shadow Creek Pediatric Dentistry - a dental clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care for children of all backgrounds.
 

DSM Jewel Event Center - a sister of the Step into Swing brand, designed to reflect existing branding but have its own unique identity.
